Former Georgia running back Elijah Holyfield scored his first NFL (preseason) touchdown Thursday night.

Carolina quarterback Will Grier, the one-time Florida Gators signal caller, hit Holyfield on a pass to the outside, and the running back made a nifty move getting to the edge and scoring the touchdown.

Ironically enough, Holyfield didn’t record one receiving touchdown while at Georgia. Holyfield has caught two passes already in his first NFL preseason game.

Here’s the touchdown catch:

Holyfield left Georgia after three seasons and entered the NFL Draft. He went undrafted and signed with the Carolina Panthers. During his three-year career, Holyfield rushed 215 times for 1,340 yards and nine touchdowns. He caught just seven passes during his career.
