When you look at the LSU-Texas A&M box score, you see that 146 total points were scored in the 74-72 seven-overtime thriller.

However, that doesn’t mean it was necessarily a great performance by the offenses, and LSU OC Steve Ensminger took some heat for play calls he made down the stretch in regulation and some calls in overtime.

This week, senior TE Foster Moreau called out Ensminger’s haters, calling him one of the best offensive coordinators in the country in this passionate speech:

“Steve Ensminger is one of the best goddamn offensive coordinators in the country,” Moreau says. “I said it at the beginning of the year. People laughed at me, scoffed at me, like they did all season. … You think we don’t have a halfback pass from Clyde (Edwards-Helaire) to Tory (Carter), you think we don’t have these plays. We know what we’re doing. It just came down to executing on one play, and again, I’m proud of my team.”

The Tigers will soon find out where they’ll be playing this bowl season. That game will be an important one for Ensminger, Moreau and the LSU offense.
