WATCH: Frustrated over loss to UGA, Brian Kelly snaps at reporter’s question

Losing by one point and losing by one possession is definitely the same thing, but don’t try telling that to Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly.
Following the Irish’s one-point (or one-possession) loss to Georgia on Saturday night, Kelly snapped at a reporter in his postgame press conference.
Instead of simply answering the question (which was “How do you keep this from snowballing?”), Kelly was combative and rude, as you can see in the video below:

It’s fair to wonder what Kelly’s reaction would be if one of his players acted like this after a loss, but since he’s the coach, he won’t face punishment.
Now, the Irish will try to quickly regroup to — in fairness to the reporter — keep Saturday’s loss from snowballing into something more.
Notre Dame travels to Boston College next weekend for what should be a winnable game, but the schedule only gets harder from there.
