This Saturday, football is back in Athens. That’s the theme of the Week 2 hype trailer the official Twitter account for the Georgia football team shared Thursday. The video, below, features narration by former Bulldog Shaun Chapas.
After taking care of business in Nashville, Kirby Smart’s squad returns home to take on Murray State. Coming off a 30-6 win over the Vanderbilt Commodores, the Bulldogs should have no trouble with the Racers, an FCS program.
It probably won’t be a close game for long, but it’s still football between the hedges. Bulldogs fans have another incentive to attend Saturday’s game: UGA will officially be designating the playing field as Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium on Saturday in honor of legendary Bulldogs coach and athletic director Vince Dooley. The College Football Hall of Famer spent more than 40 years at Georgia.
