The fireworks are flying in Athens.
Georgia and South Carolina are locked in a back-and-forth battle, and two of the scores came via incredible catches. Video review was needed to determine each catch.
The Gamecocks are hoping to pull of the upset and keep their slim hopes for an SEC East title alive. Georgia scored the first touchdown of the game on a run by RB Sony Michel, but the Gamecocks are playing strong early on.
South Carolina QB Jake Bentley led the Gamecocks on a drive that ended with a 12-yard pass to WR Bryan Edwards. The play was initially ruled incomplete on the field, but video review showed that Edwards did control the ball throughout while getting an elbow down in the end zone.
It was a remarkable play that allowed the Gamecocks to tie the score early in the second quarter.

Not to be outdone, the Bulldogs marched right back down the field to take the lead. Georgia QB Jake Fromm connected with WR Javon Wims on a 10-yard, toe-drag touchdown. Video review was again needed to determine if it was a catch or not.
