WATCH: Georgia strikes first against Alabama, Jake Fromm caps off beautiful drive for 7-0 lead
Jake Fromm has looked sharp against Alabama’s defense in the first quarter of Saturday’s SEC championship game, completing 6 of 9 passes for 85 yards.
But perhaps his best throw of the day so far was a 20-yard scoring strike to tight end Isaac Nauta that put Georgia ahead 7-0 late in the game’s opening period. Fromm threaded the ball down the seam off play-action, making for a gorgeous play that you can view below.

The touchdown toss capped a seven-play, 60-yard drive for the Bulldogs, who wrestled away control of the game thanks to a red zone interception following a three-and-out on their first drive. Fromm has looked fearless against the Crimson Tide so far, and we may see him throw for a few more touchdowns before the game is over if he can keep up this performance.
