The mother of elite WR Jacob Copeland made headlines Wednesday.

While wearing a Tennessee hat and an Alabama shirt, Copeland’s mom got up and walked out when her son announced he would be attending the University of Florida. In fairness, she returned, but it certainly didn’t look good at the time.

The battle for Copeland’s signature came down to Alabama, Florida and Tennessee, and it lasted until the bitter end. Nonetheless, Dan Mullen and his staff got their guy, and the team’s Twitter account shared the reaction inside the Gators’ War Room. You can see Mullen, two assistant coaches and his wife, Megan, celebrating.

Copeland became the Gators’ highest-ranked signee in the class of 2018, ranked No. 69 overall.
