WATCH: Jarrett Stidham getting more deep ball practice leading up to Iron Bowl

Auburn probably wasn’t expecting a fight like this against Louisiana Monroe.
Auburn RB Kerryon Johnson opened the scoring with an early touchdown, but ULM would answer. The Warhawks answered with a touchdown of their own and kept the game tied deep into the second quarter.
It looked like the game might head into halftime all tied up, but Tigers QB Jarrett Stidham had other ideas. He unleashed a fantastic deep ball to WR Darius Slayton for a touchdown that gave Auburn a bit of breathing room headed to the break.
The catch went for 50 yards and is a thing of beauty.

The play gave the Tigers a lead, but it also gave Stidham a chance to work on his deep ball with a matchup against Alabama looming next weekend. Auburn will try to put ULM away in the second half to keep its Playoff hopes alive and set up an incredible Iron Bowl for next Saturday.
