WATCH: Jarrett Stidham throws 2 TDs in first half of Thursday preseason game

Former Auburn QB Jarrett Stidham will have to wait his turn to be the New England Patriots starting quarterback, but the rookie appears to have already found his favorite wide receiver. Stidham has connected with NFL veteran pass-catcher and former Georgia Tech wideout Demaryius Thomas on a pair of first-half touchdowns.
On the first touchdown, Stidham dropped a dime from 35 yards out to hit Thomas for six points. Check out the play below:

The second touchdown pass came in a goal-to-go situation, putting the Patriots ahead of the New York Giants.
