WATCH: Johnny Manziel’s first CFL TD pass comes on impressive trick play

Folks, we have a Johnny Football sighting north of the border!
In the Montreal Alouettes’ game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Manziel threw his first CFL touchdown pass, and it came on a trick play.
As you can see below, Manziel still has a cannon for an arm, stepping into this long touchdown pass even as he got hit hard:

And, as you can see after the score, the former Texas A&M Heisman Trophy winner still likes to break out the Money Manziel celebration after touchdowns.
Manziel’s CFL career has gotten off to a bit of a slow start, but perhaps this will be a turning point for him moving forward.
