WATCH: Jordan Ta’amu stars in Ole Miss spoof of ‘This is SportsCenter’ commercial

The start of the college football season is a little more than three weeks away, and Ole Miss is ramping up the excitement with funny spoofs of the ‘This is SportsCenter’ commercial series to promote the upcoming season.
The latest commercial spoof features senior quarterback Jordan Ta’amu and offensive coordinator Phil Longo. As Longo explains to radio broadcaster Romaro Miller that the Rebels want their players to feel comfortable, the two walk in on Ta’amu in quite the comfortable situation.

Ta’amu is coming off his first year of playing experience for Ole Miss. He threw for 1,682 yards and 11 touchdowns in eight games, becoming the Rebels’ starter after an injury to Shea Patterson — who has since transferred to Michigan.
After a strong finish to last season, Ta’amu enters this year as Ole Miss’ starter at quarterback.
Ta’amu and the Rebels open the new season against Texas Tech at NRG Stadium in Houston on Sept. 1.
