Georgia is relishing in its Rose Bowl victory, and one of the newest additions to the Dawgs shared his reaction to the game.
Justin Fields, a 5-star QB who signed with the Bulldogs during the early signing period, shared his thoughts on the big win Tuesday. In an interview with Chad Simmons, Fields said he was happy for the win and called the Rose Bowl one of the best games he’s ever seen:
“Great game, both teams played well,” said Fields, “And it was just one of the best games I’ve seen. Hopefully we win the national championship.”
After his comments on the Rose Bowl, Simmons asked Fields to make a prediction for the Jan. 8 national championship between Georgia and Alabama. Fields definitely believes this game will not be the kind of shootout that was featured in the Rose Bowl, but he still picked the Dawgs in a close one:
“I think the game’s going to be less scoring, so I say 28-24 Georgia,” predicted Fields.
