Down 14-3 in the first quarter, LSU felt the need to get a score and slow down UCF’s early momentum.
Ed Orgeron and Steve Ensminger rolled the dice on fourth-and-1 and it paid off. With a fresh set of downs, LSU kept the drive alive. WR Justin Jefferson made one of the best catches of the year in the end zone for a much-needed LSU touchdown.
