WATCH: Kerryon Johnson reveals the moment that brought him to tears at Auburn

Former Auburn RB Kerryon Johnson just rushed for over 100 yards against the New England Patriots on Sunday night, ending a futile streak of Detroit Lions’ runners not reaching that plateau.

That’s a good first notable moment of what will hopefully be many for the ex-Auburn star, but what was his best moment at Auburn?

As you can see in the video below, Johnson explains that hearing the Auburn fans chant his name after he injured his shoulder in last year’s Iron Bowl actually made him cry:

“I mean, I was in a lot of pain then, too,” Johnson said in an interview with Campus Lore. “And the crowd just started chanting my name. I haven’t cried in years. Not saying that to be mister tough guy or anything, but I just don’t do it very often. And I started boohooing within two seconds on the field in front of how ever many people we had at that game.
