WATCH: Kerryon Johnson sticks the dagger into No. 1 UGA on 55-yard TD reception

No. 10 Auburn obliterated No. 1 Georgia on Saturday in front of a raucous crowd at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

And the Tigers couldn’t have iced it any better way.

Running back Kerryon Johnson caught a throwback screen pass from quarterback Jarrett Stidham and took it 55 yards to the house to hammer the nail into Georgia’s coffin.

Before the long touchdown play in the fourth quarter, Auburn led 33-10, but a 40-10 lead absolutely silenced any talk of a comeback.

If anybody deserved to score the final touchdown for the Tigers, it was Johnson. He had 167 rushing yards in addition to the touchdown catch.

Could Johnson potentially be making his way into the Heisman Trophy conversation? His numbers have been fantastic this season despite the fact he’s missed two games.

It certainly isn’t out of the question. Below is a video posted by CBS Sports of Johnson’s impressive touchdown:
