Things are looking good for the Bulldogs at halftime from Columbia as Georgia leads Missouri 20-7 at the break.

Despite that fact that his team is up big on the scoreboard, Kirby Smart isn’t happy. Moving beyond the scoreboard, there are several reasons for Smart to be so agitated with his team. The offense isn’t playing well, his offensive line is struggling, Jake Fromm is having a less than stellar day but thankfully for UGA, the teams’ special teams and defense have made several huge plays in the game.

The Bulldogs are only two of eight on third downs, got stuffed on a big fourth and one run right before halftime and have only 66 passing yards and 82 rushing yards against Missouri’s defense in the first half. The Bulldogs also have five penalties in the game heading into halftime.

Here’s an example of Smart losing it following his team’s sluggish start to the game.

Why exactly is Smart so fired up? He was asked that as he walked off the field for halftime.

“Just not playing with discipline and composure. Not playing with physicality,” Smart noted. “They did a nice job stopping us.”
