There were plenty of reasons to celebrate Saturday night in the visitors’ locker room at Williams-Brice Stadium.
Georgia coach Kirby Smart didn’t waste any time showing again why he’s a players’ coach as he cut loose with players as they chanted ‘Yeet! Yeet! Yeet!’ and mussed the coach’s hair. Georgia appeared to solidify itself as the favorite to win the SEC East with a 41-17 victory over South Carolina, its fourth straight win in the series.
Among the players front and center with the coach were pass rusher Jonathan Ledbetter and kicker Rodrigo Blankenship.
Georgia gets back to action this week when it plays host to Middle Tennessee State in a 7:15 p.m. ET kickoff on Saturday on ESPN.
