Florida State’s strength on defense is stopping the run, but when Florida RB Lamical Perine found daylight, no one was able to get in his way.

Perine’s touchdown is the first of the game for the Gators. Despite having the advantage in starting field position much of the afternoon, UF didn’t have much to show for it on the scoreboard until Perine’s 74-yard run.

It was the longest run FSU’s defense has allowed this season.

Dan Mullen and company hope that the Perine score opens the floodgates.

The Gators now lead 10-0 in the second quarter.
