Les Miles is as comfortable in his skin as any coach around. Now the Kansas players are getting used to plenty of personality from their coach.
During a recent meeting, the Jayhawks played some 1970s soul music featuring Maze and Frankie Beverly, and Miles let loose with some dancing that sent his players into roaring laughter and a hollering reaction.
The Jayhawks appear loose heading into Miles’ first season at Kansas, as the program is coming off of a 3-9 season in 2018.
Kansas opens with a home game against Indiana State on Aug. 31. It will be an uphill battle for Miles, the former LSU and Oklahoma State coach, as he leads a team that was picked last in the Big 12 in a preseason media poll.
