Mark May is adamant that Florida is going to bounce back this week from last year’s loss to Kentucky, and extend its winning streak in Lexington to 16 games.
In a segment on the “College Football Show” with Lou Holtz, May said QB Feleipe Franks will continue to have a high completion percentage as he’s sitting at 78 percent of his passes.
“Kentucky will make a run at them, but it won’t be enough, the Gators win again, 30-20,” May said.
Holtz took it to another level by saying that Florida has a chance to win the national championship. Holtz said Florida would win this game, 33-17. Holtz noted Kentucky’s win last year, “so you never know, but this is an exceptionally good Florida football team.”
Florida is listed as an 8-point favorite in the 7 p.m. ET kickoff at Kroger Field in a game televised on ESPN.
