Emotions are already running high between LSU and Mississippi State. And the game doesn’t even kick off for another hour.
During pregame warmups at Davis Wade Stadium on Saturday, a small squabble broke out between the Tigers and the Bulldogs near the mid. The players taking center stage are two of the game’s marquee players: LSU linebacker Arden Key and Mississippi State defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons.
According to Ross Dellenger, who covers the Tigers for The Advocate, Key and Simmons were “jawing” before the teams converged.
Game time is set for 7 p.m. ET in Starkville, Mississippi. The game will air on ESPN.
