WATCH: Mark Ingram eclipses back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons after explosive TD run

Former Alabama running back Mark Ingram accomplished an impressive feat on Sunday.

Ingram, who now plays for the New Orleans Saints, eclipsed 1,000 rushing yards on the season during a game against the New York Jets.

Ingram has now rushed for 1,000 yards or more in back-to-back seasons. The 2010 Heisman Trophy winner also  has cemented his place as one of the NFL’s elite running backs — if he wasn’t already mentioned in that category.

Even more impressive, Ingram pushed past the 1,000-yard mark, once again, on a 50-yard touchdown run. It was his 11th rushing TD of the season.

The Saints went on to beat the Jets 31-19, as Ingram finished the day with 12 rushes for 74 yards and the pair of scores.
