WATCH: Memphis RB Tony Pollard ties FBS record for career kickoff return touchdowns
Tony Pollard is capping the 2018 college football season the best way he knows how — scoring on a kickoff return.
If you were unaware, the Memphis junior running back entered the game with six career kick return touchdowns — a school record and only one shy of the FBS career mark. Well, Pollard isn’t shy of the FBS record any longer.
During the second quarter of the Birmingham Bowl against Wake Forest, Pollard took another one to the house giving him his seventh career kickoff return and tying the FBS all-time individual record. If he gets another one in the game, Pollard will stand alone atop the record NCAA books.
