Will fall camp getting underway, teams are showing off the spring/summer upgrades they made. We’ve seen a few teams around the country unveil new locker rooms recently. On Wednesday, it was Mississippi State’s turn.
The team’s official Twitter account shared a video of Bulldogs players touring the new facility. In June, it was revealed that work was underway on renovations to the locker room. The upgrades include, according to the June announcement, “custom graphics, illuminated nameplates, enhanced seating, LED lighting, electrical outlets and charging ports” as well as “new carpet, custom wall graphics, fresh paint and LED lighting on the ceilings.”
“We are excited about this project and how it will benefit our student-athletes who utilize this space year-round,” Mississippi State Director of Athletics John Cohen said in June. “The upgrades will provide a modern look to our locker room and give our student-athletes a comfortable setting. This project is in line with our vision of providing elite facilities for our student-athletes and coaches at Mississippi State.”
