Missouri freshman WR Kam Scott had a debut worth remembering, punctuated with one of the most acrobatic catches of the opening weekend of college football season.
Scott was one of six freshmen listed on the depth for the opener against UT-Martin, and quickly set himself apart.
In a lopsided game, it was Scott who made a leaping catch that resulted in a 70-yard touchdown to pad the lead for the Tigers. Scott made the catch between two defenders and out-raced them to the goal line for the score.
Known for his speed, Scott, who is 6-foot-2, 180 pounds, is a native of Marvel, Texas, and another weapon in the already high-powered Missouri passing offense.
