The Missouri Tigers are looking to cap this season with a bowl win after rebounding from early season struggles.

The Tigers started off with a 1-5 record while posting disappointing performances throughout that stretch. Included in that stretch was a three-game span where the offense did not manage to score more than 14 points in a game. Missouri finally started playing better but still came away with losses against Kentucky and Georgia.

To their credit, the Tigers never quit and kept fighting. Blowout wins over Idaho and UConn gave the team confidence, and Missouri finished the year on a six-game winning streak under head coach Barry Odom. QB Drew Lock was the star offensively as he finished with an SEC single-season record 43 passing TDs.

A win over Texas in the Texas Bowl would give Odom and the Tigers an impressive seven-game winning to cap the season.

As the bowl game quickly approaches, Mizzou Athletics produced an in-depth video preview of the Texas Bowl matchup. It is the perfect way for fans to get up to speed and ready for the season-ending game:

Kickoff for the Texas Bowl is set for Wednesday night at 9 pm EST on ESPN.
