WATCH: NCAA Football video game simulation has two new division winners in SEC

While EA Sports stopped creating its beloved college football video game five years ago, that doesn’t mean the fans still can’t receive fun preseason simulations.
In an EA Sports simulation, the SEC Championship featured two different teams from last season. Alabama and Florida won the SEC West and East, respectively.
Then EA Sports simulated that championship matchup. Alabama won, 23-20.
Fans can watch the entire simulated game on YouTube via SG1 Sports or catch it below:
Florida and Alabama have met in the SEC Championship a record nine times. The Crimson Tide has won the last three title meetings and holds a narrow 5-4 edge in those championship bouts. Alabama and Florida last met in the SEC Championship during 2016 with the Crimson Tide winning 54-16.
If the simulation comes true, Alabama will take over sole possession for the most SEC Championship Game victories. Heading into the 2018 season, Alabama and Florida are tied for the conference lead with seven title game wins.
Interestingly, one thing that definitely isn’t realistic about the simulation takes place in the Georgia Dome, which was imploded last year. Mercedes-Benz Stadium hosted its first SEC Championship last December and is the new home to the game.
One can tell it’s not the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the simulation because there’s no opening in the roof.
But playing a game in an imploded stadium makes a simulated game all that much more enjoyable.
