Alabama dominated Clemson in Monday’s Sugar Bowl and came away with a 24-6 win.
It was a typical performance from Alabama, led by a strong defense that absolutely shutdown the Tigers offense. Offensively, the Tide did enough to get a lead and aid the defensive effort with a couple of scores.
The driving force for the offense was QB Jalen Hurts who finished with 120 yards passing and 2 TDs while rushing for 40 yards. It was far from his best game this season, but it was enough to get the big win.
One of the funny moments from the game came when Hurts was scrambling out of the pocket. In an attempt to avoid Clemson pass rushers, Hurts scrambled towards the Alabama sideline and slammed into head coach Nick Saban.

Immediately after the game, Saban was asked if he was okay after the hard collision. He was definitely upbeat and okay after the victory and gave the fans the perfect response:
“I’m good, I’m really good,” said Saban. “They don’t make them like they used to.”
Here’s the video of his response from Youtube user Hulk Out:
Hurts is definitely a powerful and athletic player, and it is good to see Saban is just fine and having fun with the moment.
