WATCH: Odell Beckham Jr. leaves game vs. Chargers with gruesome fractured ankle injury

New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. left the field on a cart Sunday afternoon with a fractured left ankle.
The former LSU receiver grimaced in pain with what appeared to be a gruesome injury late in the Giants’ game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Beckham Jr. clearly had tears in his eyes while being taken off the field, signaling the possible severity of this injury.
It was a tough day overall for the Giants. They lost two other top receivers before Beckham Jr. went down, and the Chargers ended up winning the game 27-22. The Giants fell to 0-5 on the season.

The New York Giants’ Twitter account said that Beckham Jr. has a fractured ankle.

According to Pro Football Talk, the Giants said an earlier report Beckham Jr. was heading for surgery is not true:
