The last time the Alabama Crimson Tide and Oklahoma Sooners met, it was in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 2, 2014 — the final game for both teams in the 2013 season.

That game went Oklahoma’s way, as the Sooners rolled to a 45-31 win over Nick Saban’s Tide.

This year, Alabama is the 14-point favorite, though many expect the scoreline to be the same (if not even higher). As you can see below, some members of that 2013 Oklahoma team shared encouraging messages with this year’s squad:

Oklahoma was an underdog in that game too, and it’s clear those players remember it.

It’s safe to say this video will make its rounds in the Alabama locker room, too, so we’ll see if the Sooners are made to regret it during Saturday’s College Football Playoff semifinal matchup.
