WATCH: Ole Miss, Alabama fans fight Saturday in The Grove

There wasn’t much of a fight on the field when Alabama met Ole Miss Saturday night in a 62-7 result in the Crimson Tide’s favor.

But that didn’t stop fans from each side from getting into a scuffle before the game in The Grove. It was unclear what sparked the disagreement, as there was a reference to “last week” while the melee unfolded, as each team had a lopsided victory; Ole Miss beat Southern Illinois 76-41, and Alabama beat Arkansas State 57-7.

With a crowd of people around, and plenty of voluntary narrators offering their opinions, an Alabama fan appeared to land an initial punch on an Ole Miss before a scrum ensued. The number of people pushing and shoving even rocked the tailgating tent as a crowd — and cell phone cameras — gathered around the area.
