When 2019 DB Jalen Jordan arrives on Ole Miss’s campus next fall, he’ll do so as one of the strongest players on the team.
Over the weekend, Jordan showed he’s one of the strongest athletes in his weight class, winning a national title on Saturday during the USA High School National Power Lifting Championships in Wisconsin.
As you can see in the video below, shared by @SirDowdy on Twitter, Jordan deadlifted 555 pounds to win the 163-pound weight class:
With the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP on the line Jalen @iiamjordan3 Jordan guts out a 555 lb Deadlift! Fighting off the best the USA had to offer, this young man left it all out there! When the bright lights come on Jalen ALWAYS shines!! #GoForGold #AllHeart #ATHLETE #MississippiMade pic.twitter.com/9JpqZd8KxQ

According to the 247Sports composite, Jordan is the No. 63 cornerback in the class of 2019 and the No. 30 overall recruit from the state of Mississippi.
It’s probably safe to say Ole Miss wide receivers aren’t going to enjoy lining up across from Jordan during practice next year.
