WATCH: OU QB Baker Mayfield apologizes for antics after win over Ohio State

Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield had an incredible weekend on the field, but he has apologized for his actions following Saturday night’s game at Ohio State.
The Sooners QB put on quite a performance in Oklahoma’s 31-16 victory over the then No. 2 Buckeyes. He finished the game with 386 yards passing and 3 TD’s in one of the best performances so far this season.
The emotion of the game boiled over a bit, and Mayfield decided to plant the OU flag at midfield following the victory. The action was sure to strike a chord with Buckeye fans everywhere. As a result, Mayfield apologized for his actions on Monday.

Oklahoma’s head coach Lincoln Riley later announced on the Paul Finebaum show that the decision to apologize came completely from Mayfield.
The Finebaum show tweeted Riley’s comments:
"That's something Baker (Mayfield) wanted to do"
