WATCH: Patrick Peterson makes claim for Pro Bowl MVP by snagging second INT of game

During the regular season, former LSU CB Patrick Peterson doesn’t get many passes thrown his way, as the Arizona Cardinals’ defender is one of the best in the NFL.

However, during the Pro Bowl (Peterson’s seventh in seven years), he got a couple of opportunities to show what he can do, and he took advantage of them.

As you can see in the video below, shared by @CullerSportsNFL on Twitter, Peterson’s second interception of the day for the NFC was a thing of beauty:

Peterson also intercepted an Alex Smith pass in the end zone earlier in the game, making a strong case to win the game’s MVP award.

Peterson has proven why teams don’t throw at him more often, and this year’s Pro Bowl likely won’t be his last appearance in the NFL’s All-Star game.
