WATCH: Penn State TE nearly injures QB after wild leapfrog TD celebration

Penn State QB Trace McSorley is one of the best quarterbacks in the country, but even that isn’t enough to keep him safe from his teammates’ antics.
After a touchdown in Saturday’s big home game against Michigan, a celebration could have resulted in McSorley getting injured, as TE Mike Gesicki got a little rough with the star quarterback.
As you can see in the video below, Gesicki comes out of nowhere to leap over McSorley, pushing his neck back in the process:

Fortunately for the Nittany Lions, McSorley didn’t seem to be fazed by the rough shove at all, and kept celebrating.
Still, coach James Franklin should probably speak with his senior tight end about being a little more careful with the star quarterback in all future celebrations.
