WATCH: Penn State WR Juwan Johnson makes incredible, leaping one-handed catch

A marquee game in the Big Ten got off to a big start for Penn State as the Nittany Lions, in the middle of a white out at home, burned up the yardage in the first half.
Wide receiver Juwan Johnson made his contributions early in a game that should play a major factor on how the Big Ten presents itself on a national stage. Johnson by the end of the first quarter had three catches for 45 yards, but none bigger than a one-handed grab that flipped Beaver Stadium upside down. The 31-yard catch was secured after Johnson won a jump-ball battle near the sideline.
Near midfield midway through the first quarter, Johnson made a leaping catch over Ohio State CB Damon Arnette, a catch ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit called the “catch of the year” live on the ESPN broadcast.
Even with the catch, Penn State led 3-0 after the first quarter.
