WATCH: Popular Lexington sports bar goes wild in closing moments of Florida upset

The celebratory scenes around Lexington Saturday were something to remember as students, alumni and other fans reveled in Kentucky’s upset win over Florida in Gainesville, which snapped a 31-game streak in the series.
A popular Lexington sports bar, Two Keys Tavern, on South Limestrone Street, just blocks from the University of Kentucky campus, was a sort of ground zero for the celebrations. With DIRECTV suffering an outage following a storm passing through the area, fans were left to follow the action through their cell phones and a radio fee.
That didn’t appear to damper the excitement as patrons jumped for joy, screamed and hugged anyone around them as the seconds ticked off the clock and the 27-16 result became final. And of course, they broke into a “C-A-T-S CATS, CATS, CATS” chant.
