WATCH: Rashaan Gaulden shows off his new uniform number for Carolina Panthers

Former Tennessee DB Rashaan Gaulden left college a year early to enter the 2018 NFL Draft, and that paid off, as the Carolina Panthers chose him in the third round on Friday night.
Now that he’s off to the pros, a jersey number change is in order, as Gaulden had to give up the No. 7 he wore at Tennessee.
As you can see in the video below, it appears he’ll wear jersey No. 28 as he prepares to embark on his pro career:

Gaulden will team up with fellow ex-SEC DB Donte Jackson, who was the Panthers’ second-round pick.
That’s a lot of speed in the Panthers’ secondary, which will be important as they try to slow down NFC South QBs Drew Brees, Matt Ryan and Jameis Winston.
