In case you didn’t know, Mississippi State has two former Fordham head coaches on staff in Starkville. Not only is Joe Moorhead the former leader of the FCS program but quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator Andrew Breiner also held that role for a time.

Breiner took over the job after Moorhead left the program to coach Penn State’s offense. The two coaches had worked together for seven years prior to their reunion in 2018. While the transition from the FCS level to the SEC can’t be easy for anyone, Breiner will have the luxury of working with one of the best QB rooms the SEC has to offer thanks to Nick Fitzgerald and Keytaon Thompson being on the roster.

In a recent Hail State video production, the two Mississippi State QBs had the chance to grill their new position coach for the enjoyment of the Bulldog fan base. While they kept the questions easy, this video serves as a good resource to get to know one of the new coaches on staff in Starkville.
