WATCH: Saturday’s guest picker really enjoyed his time with GameDay’s Maria Taylor

Every week, ESPN reporter Maria Taylor escorts that week’s College GameDay guest picker from the bus to the stage, interviewing them along the way.
On Saturday, the picker was actor Craig T. Nelson, who seemed to enjoy his walk with Taylor more than most.
As you can see in the video below, Nelson has his arm around Taylor most of the way and then goes back to give her a hug and a kiss after the interview ends:

Even if it was a harmless gesture, it’s not exactly the best move for Nelson in today’s climate, where a number of big-name Hollywood producers and actors have been accused of various sexual misconduct.
It was a strange moment, made even stranger by the fact that Nelson perhaps should have known how this would be viewed simply by turning on his television or opening a newspaper.
