Many people have criticized Maryland for its handling of the D.J. Durkin situation.
First, the Terrapins were going to bring back Durkin as football coach, before reversing its decision and announcing his firing.
The ongoing saga at Maryland has continued, and many believe that the university has serious leadership issues. And that includes some of the school’s alumni.
One of them, ESPN analyst Scott Van Pelt, recently sounded off on the incident during a segment, criticizing the university for its handling of numerous decisions throughout the controversy.
“They have demonstrated the remarkably consistent ability to do the wrong thing, at each step,” Van Pelt said during the segment.
