WATCH: SEC Shorts tells the incredible story of Nick Saban’s infamous Coke bottle

For the past several years, every time Alabama coach Nick Saban has held a press conference, his trusty bottle of Coca-Cola has been by his side.

Now, thanks to SEC Shorts, the bottle has gotten to tell its side of the story, from the dizzying highs to the devastating lows.

As you can see in the video below, Saban and his Coke have been through a lot together over the years, as the bottle explains in this Behind the Music-style feature:

The story has a happy ending, as the Coke bottle eventually finds validation in its work.

Prior to and immediately after the Crimson Tide’s season opener against Florida State on Saturday, Sept. 2, Saban and his Coke bottle will have to face the media again.

However, it’ll be a trip home for the bottle, as Atlanta is the home of Coca-Cola.
