On the day the initial College Football Playoff rankings are set to be debuted, Stephen A. Smith offered his opinion on what the top five teams should be.

In an appearance on Tuesday’s edition of “First Take” on ESPN, Smith made it known how highly he thinks of Alabama — by placing the Crimson Tide in all five slots.

Of course, this is all just Smith’s grandiose way of saying he believes Alabama is much better than every other team in the country. With each “pick,” Smith gave separate reasons for why he’s praising the Crimson Tide: coach Nick Saban, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, the offensive line, the team’s schedule and … Saban again.

Thankfully, Smith isn’t included on the College Football Playoff selection committee, which will reveal its first rankings of the season at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
