WATCH: Steve Spurrier calls brilliant trick play for 2-point conversion

Steve Spurrier’s still got it.

The Head Ball Coach stepped away from the college game in 2015, but his return to coaching in the Alliance of American Football is showing that he’s still one of the game’s most creative play-callers. Spurrier’s Orlando Apollos improved to 4-0 Saturday night with a win over the Salt Lake Stallions.

One of the more entertaining AAF rules is that teams must go for two after scoring a touchdown. Spurrier reached into his bag of tricks in the third quarter and dialed up a brilliant two-point play which featured a fake sweep, a toss to the back and a short throw to the tight end. Good luck trying to defend that.
