The Orlando Apollos, coached by Steve Spurrier, scored the first touchdown in Alliance of American Football history on Saturday night at home against the Atlanta Legends.
The Apollos lead 16-6 as halftime of their debut game quickly approaches, and the Head Ball Coach seems to be loving it.
As you can see below, he was in a celebratory mood after an official explained that the ruling on the field of incomplete pass had been overturned:
Steve Spurrier’s reaction to the @aafAPOLLOS first ever TD (that was overturned from an incomplete pass) was exactly how you would’ve expected it to be.

The Apollos seem to be a solid squad, and the new league is off to a fun start on Saturday night. The other four teams will make their debuts on Sunday.
For now, though, Spurrier and his Apollos are in the spotlight and are making the most of it.
