The Alliance of American Football is off to a rocking start on Saturday night, and the game between the Orlando Apollos and Atlanta Legends has provided a couple of firsts.
Atlanta K Younghoe Koo scored the first-ever points in the league’s history, but it was Orlando — coached by Steve Spurrier — that got the league’s first touchdown.
As you can see below, former Texas QB Garrett Gilbert found Ohio State WR Jalin Marshall in the end zone for an impressive catch:

It was called an incomplete pass on the field, but the replay official overturned that call and ruled it a touchdown.
In the AAF, teams have to go for two, as there are no extra points. Orlando converted and currently leads Atlanta 16-3 in the second quarter.
