WATCH: Tennessee gives fans a chance to get to know Brian Niedermeyer in latest ‘Field Level’ video

Known as one of Tennessee’s most energetic recruiters, Brian Niedermeyer shares that same passion for teaching young men. Jeremy Pruitt brought Niedermeyer with him to Knoxville following stops in Tuscaloosa and Athens after offering him his first full-time position on a Power 5 college coaching staff.

That decision has already paid off for the program in a big way with the Vols landing the signature of the nation’s No. 1 junior college tight end in Dominick Wood-Anderson in the 2018 recruiting cycle and landing commitments from 2019 tight end prospects Jackson Lowe and Sean Brown.

As for his coaching style, Tennessee’s new tight ends coach was put on display in the latest “Field Level” video released by the university. In the video, Niedermeyer exhibits not only his passion for getting the most out of his players but expresses his desire to get the most out of his players off the field, too. The UT coach explains the “lost art” of being a tight end and how unbelievable the University of Tennessee has shown to be to him following his arrival:
