Tennessee may have an open date Saturday, but that doesn’t mean the Volunteers are taking it easy this week.
The team’s official Twitter account posted a video Monday morning featuring footage from some intense training sessions. Instead of treating this portion of the schedule as a bye week, Tennessee is embracing it as a “work week.”

The Volunteers appear to still be motivated despite a lackluster start to the season. Tennessee went 2-3 through the first month of the year, going winless in SEC play thanks to a pair of 26-point losses against Florida and No. 2 Georgia.
Unfortunately for the Vols, things won’t get any easier when they return to action. Tennessee travels to face No. 8 Auburn on Oct. 13 before hosting top-ranked Alabama the following week.
No wonder the Vols are so locked in during their bye week.
