WATCH: Tennessee State players honor severely injured teammate Christion Abercrombie

Football fans all around the country have been following the news on Christion Abercrombie, the Tennessee State player who suffered a severe head injury when TSU played Vanderbilt in Week 5.
Abercrombie had to undergo emergency surgery at Vanderbilt Medical Center and has been in critical condition since. After the surgery, Abercrombie was breathing, but not responsive.
During the week, Abercrombie’s uncle provided an update saying that Abercrombie was showing small signs of improvement from day to day.
As tough as it was for Tennessee State football players, they had to carry on with the football season even while their minds were likely more concerned with the status of their teammate.
On Saturday, Tennessee State players honored Abercombie by carrying his uniform onto the field for pregame ceremonies, including the coin toss.
