New Arkansas coach Chad Morris is having fun with his players and teaching the importance of ball security at the same time.
On Monday, the Razorbacks’ team Twitter account released a video that features Morris breaking into a sprint and trying to rip a ball away from redshirt freshman Dalton Wagner while laying on top of the 6-foot-9, 302-pound offensive lineman on the ground.
However, Morris was unsuccessful, as Wagner holds onto the ball:

But Morris was close to catching Wagner by surprise, something he let the offensive lineman know with a tweet later in the day:
Good work today @DaltonWagner78 – I almost got ya! ? https://t.co/amw4UR8W7T

It’s still early in camp, but judging from the replies to the Razorbacks’ tweet, fans are pleased with what they’ve seen and heard from Morris thus far. They’ll be even bigger fans of the new coach if he can improve the results on the field this season.
Morris makes his Arkansas debut when the Razorbacks host Eastern Illinois in their season opener on Sept. 1.
